Questions and Answers

Pascucci are high quality Italian Moccasins offering great comfort for everyday wear. We have answered some of the more popular questions about Pascucci below, however if you require any additional information, please contact us on 01622 752349 to speak to someone who knows the product you are interested in.

How do Pascucci fit?
Pascucci are generous on length but the width is narrow to average. The leather is extremely soft though so it will give easily mould to the shape of the foot.

Do Pascucci shoes come in half sizes?
Pascucci shoes are typically Italian and so come in European sizes but as the styles are hand made to order a number of styles are available in half sizes.

What is a moccasin?
A moccassin is a shape of shoe which has a stitched lip around the foot. A moccasin shape is popular in the design of loafers and deck shoes.

How is a moccasin hand sewn?
All Passcuci moccasins are hand sewn. The brand uses traditional craft techniques to produce their shoes, master craftsman sew the leather pieces by hand rather than by machine. This ensures the highest quality of product.

How does patent differ in fit to leather?
Patent always gives a little less than leather does, it does give eventually but the process will take a little longer and it will be less noticeable to a leather style. Customer's often find that patent is quite tight when they first try them on, this is because the leather is coated making it glossy and more durable.

How should I look after my leather Pascucci shoes?
At The Golden Boot we recommend a cream polish to clean your leather shoes. A jar of cream polish will nourish the leather and maintain the flexibility of the upper of your shoe. Tinned polish will dry the leather instead of moisturizing it as it has a high alcohol content.

How should I look after my Pascucci patent shoes?
We would recommend spraying your patent shoes with Dasco patent spray. This will maintain the high gloss finish and keep the shoe looking new.

Is there anyway I can make a leather sole more durable?
Leather soled shoes are fine for light use, they may not be the most suitable for wet conditions as they become slippy. It is possible to take your leather soled shoes to a cobbler and they will put rubber pieces on the sole to make the shoe more durable and suited to rainy weather.
